Lincoln Universityသည် ၁၈၅၄တွင် The Ashmun Institute အဖြစ် စတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ပြိး ၁၈၆၆ တွင် Lincoln University ဟူ၍ ပြောင်းလဲ ခေါ်ဝေါ် ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အင်္ဂလန်နိုင်ငံ၏ အလယ်ဗဟို East Midlands တွင် တည်ရှိပြိး ဘာသာရပ်ပေါင်း ၃၀၀ ကျော်ကို Undergraduate, Postgraduate ပရိုဂရမ်များကို တက်ရောက်နိုင်ပါတယ်။
Lincoln University သည် UK နိုင်ငံတွင်း ထိပ်တန်း တက္ကသိုလ်တစ်ခု ဖြစ်ပြီး National Student Survey 2018 အရ တက္ကသိုလ်ပေါင်း ၁၂၁ တွင် ကျောင်းသားများ ရွေးချယ်မှုတွင် နံပါတ် ၇ တွင် ရပ်တည်နေပြီး ၂၀၁၇ တွင် Teaching excellence ဆုကို ရရှိခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ၂၀၁၉ Guardian University Guide အရ UK နိုင်ငံတွင်း တက္ကသိုလ် ၁၂၁ ခုတွင် နံပါတ် ၂၂ တွင် ရပ်တည်လျက်ရှိပါတယ်။
၂၀၂၀ စစ်တမ်းများအရ Undergraduate တက်ရောက်သူ ၁၈၉၅ ယောက်တွင် ၃၁% မှာ ယောကျ်ားလေးများဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ၆၉ % မှာ မိန်းကလေးများ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Graduate တက်ရောက်သူ ၁၈၂ ယောက်တွင် ၂၇% မှာ ယောကျ်ားလေးများဖြစ်ပြီး ၇၃% မှာ မိန်းကလေးများ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ၃၀% Undergraduate ကျောင်းသားများသည် Main campus တွင် တက်ရောက်လျက်ရှိပါတယ်။
